DKT International Uganda has officially flagged off the Sex Mobile, a dedicated sexual and reproductive health (SRHR) mobile outreach van set to traverse Uganda over a multi-month nationwide caravan. Funded through the Phil Harvey Impact Fund to Honor DKT’s late founder, the Sex Mobile operates as a multi-functional activation and edutainment unit delivering vital health messaging, HIV prevention education, and deeper product distribution directly into local communities.

The caravan forms a core component of DKT’s #ReadyToPlay with Kiss Condoms initiative, designed to encourage safe sex behaviour, promote correct & consistent condom use, and expand countrywide access to quality SRHR products.

Bringing the Experience to Communities Nationwide

Ugandans across all major regions—including Central, Eastern, Western, West Nile, and Northern corridors—are urged to look out for the Sex Mobile van in their towns, market centres, taxi parks, and nightlife spots. Key stopping points on the route include Jinja, Mbale,

Masaka, Mbarara, Fort Portal, Hoima, Gulu, Arua, Soroti, and Lira among others

During each stop, the Sex Mobile team will deliver interactive roadshows, health messaging, product sampling, and referral linkages to local health centres, clinics, and pharmacies for comprehensive SRHR services. Special key moments along the route include flagship outreach on World AIDS Day (December 1) in Gulu to support HIV prevention messaging and counselling linkage in partnership with the Ministry Of Health.
